Tariku Woldey, MD
Dr. Tariku Woldey is originally from Ethiopia and now resides in Overland Park, KS. Dr. Woldey graduated from Gondar College of Medical Sciences in Ethiopia. He went on to intern at Kings Brook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Woldey completed his residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine and was then accepted into the Gastroenterology and Hepatology fellowship program at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. Dr. Woldey has volunteered with Doctors Without Borders, Maries Stopes International and SOS Children’s Village International.
Dr. Woldey specializes in general gastroenterology. He values the physician patient relationship and strives to provide compassionate medical care to each patient using current medical practices in gastroenterology. He is committed to finding the right treatment for his patients.
Outside of the office, Dr. Woldey enjoys reading, watching movies, going to church activities and spending time with his wife and four children.
